DiCapo Wines was created at the DiCapo Sunday dinner table after a long, wonderful meal. The family started to reminisce about the restaurant we all grew up in, The Italian Gardens, and also the Sunday feasts we would have, which all the family would attend back in the ’60s and ’70s. One thing that was always present in both instances was a wicker bottle of Chianti. We drank a lot of wine back in those days, and the wicker bottle, or fiasco, as it is proper Italian named, was center stage in the middle of the table.
The need to bring that feeling back was the starting block for DiCapo Wines and the journey began.
